With the new Boss joined in late last year, we officially had formed a new group all together. The reason we had an offsite last week to get to know each other and build network. I wasn't there as I had to go back to Kedah.

My department too had some changes of job scope etc. Under my wing I have to move people too. Quite a few of them. 5 will be out of the department and another 26 of them will be changing either their work individually or as a group.

Today I completed talking to all the impacted staff except for a few that were not in the office. Not an easy job to tell people that you will no longer be doing what you are doing and will move to a new unit with new job scope. 

My Boss handled those that are AVPs - 3 of them while the rest are left for me to do the talking and explaining. 

Before we did that we engaged HR for guidance on how should we approach the staff. 

Alhamdulillah 99% of them accepted their new roles with open heart. Though I heard that they were discussing among themselves I wouldn't care less because I told them personally if you are not happy and want to discuss further come and talk to me. I will give you the exact answer. But none came so I take it that they are alright with the movement. 

I will then tomorrow, talk to the impacted teams so collectively they understand further what is going on. 

Pretty tired in doing all the talking. In fact I got a bit emotional talking to one of them. I cried! Blame it on my period of course! Hahaha. I said I care that I chosed you to move to another team because I can see the potential in you. I didn't just pick names and move people around for the sake of it. I have to think of their strength and what can they contribute to the team and Ops team as a whole.

Anyway .... today I received a message from another head hunter for a post that may fit with my experience. This time around I will be managing 700 to 800 people! 😬 I just gave her my CV and my expected salary. If this is meant for me Insha Allah ... if not my rezeki from Allah is in this MI

This Is The Time!

Dah lama sangat I have not been updating on here. Dah lah I don't have any other social media so some of you dah tak boleh tengok what's been going with me and Id. But wait, I do have an Instagram account just for my personal use with family as followers. I think I have 11 followers. That's enough and please do not ask for permission to add me. Nothing much is there I only update on IGS and it's all about Id. Siapa lagi kan? The program I attended ended in Nov last year. It's more like preparation for going back to work. 23 of us, that were out of work for more than a year. A lady was out of work for more than 15 years. They could be because taking care of kids or laid off or just like me contract ended and was not renewed. For 9 weeks I was travelling Kedah - KL every week.
