Enough Is Not Enough?

Monday punya cerita. Saya called MrG. Boss kepada Boss. Boss saya kan dah hantaq emails bagai dah pasal issues kat office. Kira macam saya nie tak berguna lah kan. 

MrG: So SL, are you going to talk about the series of emails that I received from Boss? 

SL: No, it is about something else. I want to be transferred out

MrG: Have you spoken to Boss about this? 

SL: I dont think I can talk to him. I want to see Head of HR. 

MrG: Why not you do this. You talk to Business HR (BHR) and if he doesn't do anything then only you go and see Head of HR

SL: I infact rejected BHR's meeting invitation. An invitation was sent by his team member. I had earlier sent him messages via whatsapp and he didn't even reply. So why bother?

MrG: Right after I put down this phone, I will get him to contact you directly and invite you for a chat. 

SL: Ok. Will do that and thank you

MrG: You take care

So BHR after half and hour of me talking to MrG,sent me whatsapp message. We decided to meet up at 2pm

Meanwhile, I was called for a meeting together with my team members and the penjilat buntut (Risk guy) and BD head. In the meeting I got scolded (as usual) and I admitted my mistake. I said I take full responsibilities of what had happened. He shouted and told those in the meeting, what kind of leader I am etc etc. 

He then asked me and my Manager to stay. Again kena scolded. Then he asked Manager to leave and left me and him in the meeting room.

Boss: What happened?

SL: We definitely can not work together. This is not healthy

Boss: He started to raise his voice etc

I stood up and told him -" this is not a good conversation. I would want to have 3rd party to be with us when we have a conversation". He was so mad he said - SL, you disrespect me!

I said while walking out, this is the same thing over and over again. 

2 pm I went to see HR. Told him everything with my 4 points about Boss and also examples of the incidences. I asked for transfer out. He said there is one vacancy in Communication. Not good in writing I said, somewhere else. He said he will be talking to my Managers as well as his Boss will be informed on our conversation. He told me too that he will update me on Tuesday once he spoke to his Boss. 

Today he talked to Ias and my Manager MrsB. MrsB talked all the good thing about me. And MrsL has yet to see HR. 

Oh btw, yesterday HR big S called me. They decided to take me in. She asked me to fill up forms and provide her supporting documents, which I sent to her today. They will do they police check etc. 

Since big S that came first, insha Allah I will accept their offer if everything goes well. Tomorrow I will be seeing bid D for a chat. 

Itu saja cerita. Ada banyak lagi sebab Boss saya sudah jadi meroyan. Hahaha. Semua benda kira nak escalate ke Boss dia. Nampak sangat petty and agak buduh buat macam tu! Oh that shows how 'cerdik' he is lah kan! 

Jom main games. Dah penat 2 hari masuk battle. Esok kalau dan saya habaq kat BHR saya nak jumpa his Boss.
